Kuala Lumpur, 20 November 2025—In a heartfelt tribute to Malaysian Children’s Day, theAsianparent and Youvit joined forces to honour children’s wellbeing and amplify their perspectives through a vibrant community event. The celebration spotlighted the launch of Malaysia’s first-ever “Kids Board of Directors,” empowering young minds to shape future initiatives and fostering a sense of inclusion and joy among families nationwide.
At the core of the event was a commitment to giving children a platform to be heard. The newly formed Malaysian “Kids Board of Directors,” composed of five bright, confident children aged between three to eight years old, will represent their peers’ views on key issues like wellbeing, daily experiences, and dreams. Through storytelling sessions, interactive activities, and ongoing contributions, these young leaders will influence theAsianparent’s programmes, marking a pioneering step in child-centered advocacy.

The event brought together families, partners, and media for a day of fun and meaningful discussions. The programme included a Parent Talkshow Session hosted by Kid Board Director, Yeo Xin Hahn, Joe, and featured prominent home-grown Malaysian parentpreneurs, Ms Jenn Low, CEO & Founder of Wanderlust + Co, and Mr Sinan Ismail, CEO & Founder of Durioo. They explored practical ways to support children’s growth, from building emotional resilience to encouraging confidence and kindness, reinforcing the message that children’s voices and happiness are at the heart of a brighter future.
