This policy explains how The Parent Inc (Tickled Media Pte Ltd and its affiliates, "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with this corporate website, theparentinc.com. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and the data protection laws of the other countries where we operate.

Our consumer apps, websites and stores, including theAsianparent, Webtretho, Mama's Choice, Little Rei and Motherswork, have their own privacy policies. 1. What we collect

This website does not have accounts, does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other sites. We collect personal data only in these ways:

  • When you contact us. When you send the "Partner with us" form, we receive your name, email address, company and message, the page you sent it from, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source, which your browser holds for that visit only and then discards), and your IP address. The form delivers this to the right team by email through our email delivery provider, Resend, and emails you a copy. We keep enquiries in our email, not in a separate database. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
  • Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to run, secure and troubleshoot the site.

2. How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to you, route your enquiry to the right team (for example partnerships, investor relations, press or recruitment), and keep a record of our correspondence. We use technical data to keep the site working and secure. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

  • Companies within The Parent Inc group, where your enquiry concerns one of our businesses or markets.
  • Service providers that host this website or provide our email and IT systems, under obligations to protect the data.
  • Authorities or other parties where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect our rights, our users or the public.
  • A buyer, investor or successor, if all or part of our business is reorganised, merged or sold.

4. International transfers

We are headquartered in Singapore and operate across Southeast Asia. Your data may be stored or processed in Singapore or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where we transfer data out of the country it was collected in, we take steps to make sure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

5. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the purpose you contacted us about, or as required by law. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask us to delete it or limit how we use it. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information, such as payment details or identification numbers, through email or the contact form.

8. Children

This website is for businesses, partners, investors, journalists and job seekers. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.

9. Links to other sites

This website links to other websites, including our own brands, news outlets and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
