These terms apply to your use of theparentinc.com (the "site"), which is operated by The Parent Inc (Tickled Media Pte Ltd and its affiliates, "we", "us") in Singapore. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our consumer apps, websites and stores, including theAsianparent, Webtretho, Mama's Choice, Little Rei and Motherswork, have their own terms. Those terms apply when you use those services.

1. About the site

The site gives general information about The Parent Inc, our businesses, our people, our news and our careers. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time without notice.

2. Information only

Content on the site is provided for general information, as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error free. Figures and statements on the site are given as of the date shown and may change.

Nothing on the site is an offer or invitation to buy or sell securities, or investment, legal, medical or other professional advice. Please get independent advice before acting on anything you read here.

3. Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos and trade marks, belong to us, our licensors or the people featured, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Journalists may use the logos, photographs and text in our press kit to report on The Parent Inc, provided they are not altered in a misleading way. Any other use, including copying, republishing, framing or scraping the site, requires our prior written permission.

4. Using the site responsibly

You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, or interfere with how it works, including by introducing malicious code or overloading it;
• use automated tools to copy or collect content from the site without our permission; or
• pretend to be The Parent Inc or any of our people, or suggest that we endorse you when we do not.

5. Links to other sites

The site links to websites we do not control, including news coverage and social media. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

6. What you send us

If you send us ideas, proposals or other material through the site or by email, you confirm that you have the right to share it. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we have no obligation to keep unsolicited ideas confidential or to pay for them. How we handle your personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

7. Job listings

Job openings are posted on our LinkedIn page. Listings do not form an offer of employment. We never ask candidates to pay a fee at any stage of recruitment. If someone asks you to, please report it to info@tickledmedia.com.

8. Our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content, or from any site linked to it. This includes indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses or costs, including reasonable legal costs, that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
